WHAT YOU CAN TAKE

You can take household waste from your own home. The following materials are collected separately at the sites for recycling. Please help by placing them in the marked containers and areas. If in doubt ask the operator for advice.

Cans and other metals
Green, brown and clear glass
Textiles
Paper and magazines and cardboard
Green waste
Motor oil and vehicle batteries

WHAT YOU CANNOT TAKE

The following materials will not be accepted even if they come from your own home:

Construction and demolition of DIY waste which includes brick/rubble/concrete/slabs/fitted kitchens/fitted wardrobes/bathroom suites/central heating system components/garden sheds/fencing/garden soil/turf/pond and other excavations/doors/windows/roofing materials/plasterboard/structural wood/other building materials

A small quantity of construction and demolition or DIY waste (the equivalent of one rubbish sack or one item such as a door or window) will be accepted once a week.

Liquid waste other than motor oil
Hazardous waste such as chemicals, asbestos, pesticides.
